Leesburg Splash Guard Installation

If water pours over your gutter at the inside corners of the roof every time it storms, the gutter isn't broken. It's a roof valley sending more water, faster, than the front lip of the gutter can catch. A splash guard, also called a valley shield, fixes it.

Larry's Gutters installs splash guards on every new gutter system and adds them to existing gutters across Leesburg and The Villages. See all of our gutter services.

Where Water Overshoots

Valleys are the inside corners where two roof slopes meet. A valley gathers rain from both slopes and sends it down in one stream. In a Central Florida afternoon storm that stream lands in the gutter at speed and jumps right over the front. You'll see it in the rain, and on dry days as splashed dirt on the wall or a washed-out line in the mulch under one spot.

What We Do

We fasten an aluminum splash guard to the front of the gutter where each valley empties, matched to the gutter color.

On new seamless gutters, splash guards come standard at every valley.

On existing gutters, we add them wherever water overshoots.

If the gutter at the valley still can't keep up, we'll recommend a downspout close by.

Lanais, Screen Rooms and Entryways

Valleys often sit right above the spots you use most: the corner where a lanai or screen room joins the house, or the roof over the front entry. Water overshooting there splashes the screens, soaks the patio and drips on whoever is walking in. A splash guard keeps it in the gutter.

Homes with metal roofs, which shed water faster, and homes with several valleys benefit the most.

Can splash guards go on my existing gutters?

Yes. We add them to existing aluminum gutters.

Do your new gutters include splash guards?

Yes. Every new seamless gutter system we install has splash guards at the roof valleys.

What color are splash guards?

They are aluminum, matched to the color of your gutters.
